John Robertson co-founded Integrated Private Debt as First Treasury in 1987. John is Chairman and is responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s private placement debt business.

Prior to founding First Treasury, John served Commercial Capital and CIBC in a variety of commercial lending capacities.

John is a past Director and Chair of the Fund Raising Committee of the Fred Victor Centre. and past director of Horizons for Youth.He is a Director of Integrated Asset Management Corp. He holds a B.A. from McMaster University.

Philip Robson joined Integrated Private Debt in 1996. 

Prior to joining Integrated Private Debt, Philip was co-founder and Vice President, Finance of Acorn Packaging. From 1989 to 1993, he was President and CEO of Krispak Limited, a snack food processing and marketing enterprise he acquired with partners. Philip served as Vice President, Corporate Finance for Dominick and Dominick Securities in New York and Toronto from 1985 to 1990. He worked in corporate banking  at the Bank of Nova Scotia from 1985 to 1987. Prior to that he was with F.H. Deacon Hodgson.

Philip is a past Director and Treasurer of the Fred Victor Centre and is past Chair of the Bach Children’s Chorus of Toronto.

Philip holds a B.A., Honours Economics, from the University of Toronto.

Donald Bangay  joined Integrated Private Debt in 2001 as Managing Director.  His primary responsibilities include credit approval and investor relationship management for the Integrated Private Debt Limited Partnerships.

Prior to joining Integrated Private Debt, Don was Vice President and Director, Corporate development for Newcourt Credit Group. Before that, Don spent 25 years in investment management at The Canada Life Assurance Company in a variety of roles, including heading the Canadian private placement section.

Don holds a B.A. in Economics from York University and is a CFA charterholder.

Prior to joining IPD, Dennis was the founding President & CEO of CIT Business Credit Canada, Inc. (“CITBCCI”) an asset based lending (“ABL”) joint venture between Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (“CIBC”) and Cit Group, Inc.  During his nine-year tenure on secondment from CIBC, CITBCCI grew from a true start-up to what is presently considered the largest and best-in-class Canadian ABL platform. 

 As part of his role as President and CEO, Dennis was personally involved in a number of high profile financings and restructurings.  During his previous 23 year career with CIBC, Dennis held senior head office management positions in risk management, corporate finance and special loans.

As Chief Risk Officer, Dennis will be responsible for the integrity and maintenance of IPD’s investment grade loan portfolios.

 Dennis is a graduate of the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University

Frank Duffy joined the company in 1993. His responsibilities include loan origination, participation negotiations and structuring,  as well as loan portfolio management and client relations.

Prior to joining Integrated Private Debt, Frank was Vice President and Director, Penfund Management Limited. From 1981 to 1988 he was Senior Assistant Manager, Business and Corporate Development at the Royal Bank. From 1978 to 1981, he was Assistant Vice President at Banque Nationale de Paris. Prior to that, he held a variety of administrative positions in commercial and corporate lending at the Royal Bank.

Frank is a past Director of Junior Achievement of Metro Toronto, Opera Atelier, and is past Director and Chair of the Canadian Liver Foundation. In 2002, he was a recipient of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee medal.

Frank graduated from the Saint John Institute of Technology in 1965. He holds a  Bachelor of Commerce, Magna Cum Laude, from Concordia University. Frank is a Fellow of The Institute of Canadian Bankers.

Mike LeClair joined Integrated Private Debt in 2002. His responsibilities include loan origination, participation negotiations and structuring, as well as loan portfolio management and client relations.

From 1998 to 2001, Mike led mergers and acquisitions for North and South America for Chubb Security. Prior to that, he was Vice President and General Manager of Direct Film Inc., Chief Operating Officer, Carlaw Footwear, co-founding shareholder and General Manager, Adventure Zone, Director, Mergers and Acquisitions for Trivest Insurance  and Manager of Special Projects and Internal and Operations Audit for Japan Camera Centre.

Mike also founded an operated an independent consulting firm specializing in restructurings and acquisitions. From 1979 to 1985, he was a Specialist in the Business Investigations group at Coopers & Lybrand.

Mike is past Chair of the Finance Committee and Treasurer of both Heart & Stroke Ontario and Big Brothers ( York Region ). He is Chair of the Board and President of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario and serves on the Advisory Board to the sole shareholder of SBR International.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors at the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto.

John Walker joined Integrated Private Debt in 2010 as Managing Director of IPD Infrastructure. John is responsible for marketing and developing the infrastructure asset class as well as portfolio management and investor relations.

Prior to joining IPD Infrastructure John was Managing Partner at Aurion Infrastructure Inc. and has worked in the infrastructure field for 36 years starting with the New haven Redevelopment Agency, the Ontario Ministry of Treasury, Economics and Intergovernmental Affairs, The Town of  Oakville, Ontario Hydro and Mihaly International Canada. In 1996 he commenced his investment banking career as Managing Director of Privatization and Infrastructure at Loewen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon. He was a founding director of Borealis infrastructure now owned by OMERS. He has worked in his career in over 80 countries.

John has also worked on projects at Falconbridge and was a Founding Director of the GTAA and Chairman of its Planning and Development Committee and is currently Chairman of US Geothermal Inc., listed on the TSE and NYSE –AMEX.

John holds a Bachelor of Science from Springfield College in Massachusetts and Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from York University in urban/environmental planning.

Doug Zinkiewich joined Integrated Private Debt in 2004. His responsibilities include loan origination, participation negotiations and structuring, as well as on-going management of outstanding loans and client relations.

From 1988 to 2004, Doug held a variety of corporate finance roles with CIBC and CIBC World Markets, including Executive Director, Diversified Industries / Cross Border. He delivered corporate finance solutions to clients which included private placements, merger and acquisitions, capital market debt issuance, securitization and structured finance. Prior to that he held various roles at the Royal Bank and Prudential Securities.

Doug holds a Bachelor of Environmental  Studies from the University of Waterloo, an M.B.A. from Queen’s University and is a Certified Management Accountant.

Andrew joined Integrated Private Debt in 2009. His responsibilities include origination, financial analysis, due diligence, documentation and loan portfolio management.

Andrew (AJ) came to Integrated Private Debt from DBRS, where he was Senior Energy Analyst. AJ formerly played professional lacrosse in the National Lacrosse League.

He holds a B. A. from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from the Wehle School  of Business at Canisius College.
